Players — 2024 Week 5
Scoring: Full PPR · 6-pt pass TD
SUPERFLEX fantasy football rankings for Week 5, 2024: projected points with calibrated floor and ceiling ranges and boom/bust odds, sortable by any column.
This archived week lists every player we projected that week, whatever his team or status today.
QB: Some seasons ahead are not ranked for QB here, because what we have for them doesn't hold up; the seasons offered above are the ones we publish. RB: Some seasons ahead are not ranked for RB here, because what we have for them doesn't hold up; the seasons offered above are the ones we publish. WR: Some seasons ahead are not ranked for WR here, because what we have for them doesn't hold up; the seasons offered above are the ones we publish. TE: Some seasons ahead are not ranked for TE here, because what we have for them doesn't hold up; the seasons offered above are the ones we publish.
QB: No combined total is shown for the rest of the 2024 season and the 2025–2026 seasons combined. We tested totals like it, built from our projections, against what non-starting quarterbacks actually scored (284 player-weeks at Weeks 4, 8 and 12). At Week 4 its 90% range held for 84% of them, not close enough to 90% to publish. Starters' totals were tested too (166 player-weeks) and did not pass.
QB: No ranking by the rest of the 2024 season and the 2025 season combined is shown. That combined total is tested for only some players at this position, and a ranking that left the rest out would not be a ranking of the position.
TE: No ranking by the rest of the 2024 season and the 2025–2026 seasons combined is shown. That combined total is tested for only some players at this position, and a ranking that left the rest out would not be a ranking of the position.
Weekly projections for DL, LB and DB are not part of this 2024 Week 5 example; choose the rest of the season or a season ahead to rank them.
Rank shown is the SUPERFLEX rank, across every position on this board (mean desc), independent of the sort you pick.
About these numbers
QB, RB, WR and TE ranked together. Boom and Bust on this board are measured against the SUPERFLEX pool, not each player's own position: the SUPERFLEX replacement level is 12.3 points, the best QB, RB, WR or TE still free once all 12 teams have filled a starting lineup with one flex slot (RB, WR or TE) and one superflex slot (QB, RB, WR or TE). A bust is a week under 8.2 points. A boom is a week of at least 23.2 points.
What these columns mean
- Team
- — The club whose published depth chart listed the player in THAT week, read from the slate's own chart rather than from his club today — these boards can be archived weeks. “not listed” where that week's chart does not list him.
- Mean
- — The league-rules-aware fantasy-points mean. It already integrates over playing-time and matchup uncertainty, so it is not a best case.
- Floor
- — The 10th percentile of this player's projected points: 10% of simulated weeks come in below it. It is the lower edge of the calibrated 80% range.
- Ceiling
- — The 90th percentile: only 10% of simulated weeks come in above it. It is the upper edge of the same calibrated 80% range.
- Boom
- — Chance of a week beating 1.5x the typical starter across QB, RB, WR and TE, 23.2 points this week — the typical starter is the median projection among the QB, RB, WR and TE players at or above the SUPERFLEX replacement level. One bar for the whole board, so every row here is measured against the same number, which is not the bar on his own position's tab.
- Bust
- — Chance of a week under two-thirds of the SUPERFLEX replacement level: under 8.2 points this week. The SUPERFLEX replacement level is the points of the best QB, RB, WR or TE still free once all 12 teams have filled a starting lineup with one flex slot (RB, WR or TE) and one superflex slot (QB, RB, WR or TE). Two-thirds is the Boom bar's 1.5x read the other way. The bar is the pool's, not his own position's.
- Profile
- — Spread and nothing else — no claim about upside. The coefficient of variation (standard deviation divided by mean), bucketed: rock solid below 0.45; steady up to 0.60; swingy up to 0.80; high variance at 0.80 and above. “BYE” instead where the player's club had no game that week — a spread is a claim about a week that is played.
