Rank shown is position rank (mean desc), independent of the sort you pick.
About these numbers
DET, LAC, PHI and TEN were on bye in 2024 Week 5. Their players are still ranked here — 1 of the 23 rows on this board, each marked “BYE” in place of a Profile word. A club on bye plays no game that week, so nothing on those rows will be scored, and we state no spread profile for a week that is not played.
Boom is blank on every row of this board. A boom is a week beating 1.5x the typical starter at the position, and we state that bar only where a second, independent source has checked it — QB, RB, WR and TE. Rather than print an upside number we cannot stand behind, we print none. Every other column here is unaffected.
Team reads “not listed” on 3 of the 23 rows on this board. The badge names the club whose published depth chart listed the player in that week, never the club he is on today — a present-day badge beside an archived week is the wrong answer, so where that week's chart does not list him we name no club rather than guess one. It is not a claim that he was unsigned or that he did not play.
What these columns mean
- Team
- — The club whose published depth chart listed the player in THAT week, read from the slate's own chart rather than from his club today — these boards can be archived weeks. “not listed” where that week's chart does not list him.
- Mean
- — The league-rules-aware fantasy-points mean. It already integrates over playing-time and matchup uncertainty, so it is not a best case.
- Floor
- — The 10th percentile of this player's projected points: 10% of simulated weeks come in below it. It is the lower edge of the calibrated 80% range.
- Ceiling
- — The 90th percentile: only 10% of simulated weeks come in above it. It is the upper edge of the same calibrated 80% range.
- Boom
- — Chance of a week beating 1.5x the typical starter at this position — the median projection among the players at or above replacement level. A bar for the position, never for the player, so two rows here mean the same thing.
- Bust
- — Chance of a week under two-thirds of the replacement level: under 5.9 points at this position this week. The replacement level is the points of the best player still free once all 12 teams have filled a starting lineup. Two-thirds is the Boom bar's 1.5x read the other way.
- Profile
- — Spread and nothing else — no claim about upside. The coefficient of variation (standard deviation divided by mean), bucketed: rock solid below 0.45; steady up to 0.60; swingy up to 0.80; high variance at 0.80 and above. “BYE” instead where the player's club had no game that week — a spread is a claim about a week that is played.
